If I was to get a TM (I heard poweredgeUSA.com is back) what would I get and how long would it last me?

I like their m1911a1, mk23, g17...
The last one is not on the website, but the 2nd one I can notify them.

For the TM glock 17, you have many options of a metal slide.....

PGC glock 17 (9x19mm markings)
airsoft surgon (www.redwolfairsoft.com) glock 21 (.45) glock 22 (.40) and glock 17 (9mm) trades are avail.

Airsoft surgon aka AS slides require 0.00000% modification. I highly recommend them.

Though I dont have any experience with PGC TM glock 17 slides, I do know they ARE high in quality....

According to Flashback (on ASC), PGC slides DO require modification to the slide rails to fit properly - this allows for a very tight fit if fitted properly, but it still is a modification. Might as well go with the Airsoft Surgeon... lots of selections of trade marks is always awesome

You all have been pretty helpfull, but I will ask in maybe another forum because I'm down to either getting a TM MK23 SOCOM if they still make them, or get the p8(due possibly more range than the tm g17 or the tm p226.) Thanks.

The p8 will not get more range than the tm glock 17, or the p226.
