Bit of a zombie I do realize that. However thought this would be the most appropriate place to post this.

In terms of carrying your tanks and routing your lines, what do you guys do?
speciality pouches for tanks? Back packs?

Routing your lines, over the shoulder? Under the arm? loose? weaved through molle?

I'm starting to pool money together for one of these lovely set ups.

I still think Polar Stars are a complete fail. There ability to shoot consistently is completely overshadowed by the basic war crimes they have committed by just existing. But I digress. If there's was even a remote way to make them even the slightest bit okay or tolerable (and there isn't), I'd integrate the feed line into a weapon sling, so there was only one tether to my person, and have them joined by a quick-disconnect fitting, so you could drop the gun if you needed. The tank then would have to be long and slim, and run up my back, adjacent my water bladder, and within an appropriate pouch.

In terms of regulators. I know that Redline is pretty much the go to,
but I haven't been able to find how long the line/hose is?

Also what other ones do people use?

The hose is either 6mm or 8mm hosing depending on your preference. Length can be cut to your choice if you use quick disconnects.

well looking at different sites, it doesnt seem to be much of a choice on lengths or bore size.

I mean redlines website doesnt even say if its 6 or 8 or if its 1ft or 4ft or whatever
http://www.redlineairsoft.com/index....ase-air-system

I mean I think "Big Bore" means 8mm right?
and digging a little their "big bore" is 42in

I just would like some confirmation, as all of this is just my own speculation

OK, typically it's 6mm. You can always replace with a larger 8mm as long as you swap the quick disconnects to match. Those of us who used to or still mess with classic external gas guns do the same. Deetag carries pneumatic parts to match your regulator setup. I usually use a Palmer's Pursuit Shop Stabilizer with a low pressure spring pack but also have a Redline.

As for length, cut to your choice of length.

Kwokwai, by QD's you mean fittings right, which you can't change on flexline as they are crimped on vs. pressed on with macroline. Flexline will come with NPT QD connectos.

The firebase line is 8mm x 42" which is far more than enough length.

Just finished my M240 build. Currently mounted in a British Army GPMG mount to be added to my Land Rover commander mount.
So far so good, was a pretty easy build and look forward to fielding it.
