Adjusting your scope

I have a very newb question to ask you guys. How do you adjust the laser or an ACOG 4x scope so that where they aim is exactly where the BB hit? There is no adjustment for elevation for the scope..The scope and laser are attached at the top and bottom of a rail, and both aim directly ahead, which is parallel to the trajectory of the BB when shot. How would you adjust it?

You should be able to adjust both horizontal and vertical on an ACOG.

And I certaintly hope you don't game that gun with a laser on it.

The crosshair on the ACOG is fixed. Its just a 4X scope. How come i shouldnt game with a laser on it?

ACOG should be adjustable for both windage and elevation.

And lasers aren't allowed at games because of potential eye damage.

Some folks have mentioned that there are ACOG replicas out there that only look good, & have no adjustment. For those posing picutures I guess.

So take it off the rifle. Set it down on a flat surface and take note of where it's sitting and where the crosshairs are. Take the dust covers off the adjustment towers. Get a coin or tool or whatever and wind both dials all the way in and out a few times. While you do that contine to take note of where the crosshairs are and if they've moved.

Then go back to your rifle, at about 50-60 feet sight in with the irons. Then put the ACOG back on and zero it if yours is an adjustable model.

airsofts generally cant shoot pin point accurate. With a scope or a red dot thats zeroed in, it should give you around 6" grouping or less at targets 30 feet+. also try adjusting your hop up first as thats a better way to get your gun shooting more accurately.
