My Homemade Ghillie

Once im done, ill post it up....

But I have some questions to clear up before I get crackin'

what do you suggest? Jute or burlap

IMO burlap looks alot better with the "rough" look, but it also starts to fall apart after a long period of time.

Then jute is more reliable in long lasting, but to me looks to "smooth" looking.

Whats your opinion?

and Im actually basing my design on the ghillie in COD4, yeh you might now think im just doing because I think that Im good on COD, and therefore I think im good out on the field, well no I had the idea of a ghillie in my head and then ended up playing that "all ghillied up" mission and say that I dont really need a front side for my ability on the field.

_-_- My due date should be under a month if everything goes as planned....

1: burlap is weaved jute
2: use a combo of both.
3: jute strands alone are still very effective,

in use combine ghillie with twigs and leaves from the play field.

Once properly broken in(throw in a muddy river, drag along a road, kick around, hang up and dry) The jute will start to bunch and curl, getting rid of the straight lines, but I agree with sepulcrum use a combination of both, most importantly add natural vegetation. COD4 was what motivated me to make a ghillie too
