Best ghillie suit for Ontario & Quebec
Hi,
What would you consider to be the most efficient (camo wise) ghillie suit + BDU pattern out there for the Quebec and Ontario wooden field? Thanks, Bong

Sorry but it all depend on what field you go too. The best thing to do is to build you a woodland kind as a base and add up stuff when you get to the OP's field.

Base color should be mainly brown.
Mine have brown and tan mixed as base to mimic mud and underbrush. I have to brighter green to mimic grass. The main ingredian to mach the place you are is natural vegetation. So plan on having elastic straps to add natural foliage.

Yup, the ones you buy burlap, dye and netting for. Cheapest and best you can get.

Dude I have three ghuillies available at the moment. Both are good starts. One is a green the other is the Jute tan. Both are poncho style with sleeves.A few of the known shooters here have picked them up and started work on them. These will save you a ton of time and can be used as is or do some mods to make it totally ninja. Send me an email and I can get you some pics of them. I have another thats more expensive but ready to go just add the sniper.

Your best bet would be 'Woodland' pattern, which is mostly brown with green added to imitate grass and some tan.
Check out this color chart to see difference in patterns.. |
