Classifieds?
Alright so since people cannot import guns from the states or any other country because of Canadian laws, how do all metal AEG's become so available? I know people smuggle but yet they are still very popular to sell and buy in your classifieds.

As far as I know the guns were purchased before the new Canadian laws came into effect. When that happpend, customs no longer liked our Airsoft guns coming into Canada. There is a form on here that breaks it down for you, so you can understand what the rules are about importing and know the history of importation. Basically, the guns that you see in the classifieds were purchased before the laws, and people are selling them for what ever reasons. All my guns that I have bought have been previously used. That's my two cents.

I was mainly referring to the full metal AEG's.

Yes, and with a certain license the retailers can import whatever they want.
Full metal guns, or anything.

That it does, but where are all the ICS, TM, CA...the list goes on. The retailers do a good job of getting us a wide selection of AEG's and GBB's. But there all still some laws that do make is difficult for the retailers to get us some of those brands into Canada.

Retailers abuse their licenses by selling to the general public. You can get the license to import any replica firearm but only for the intention of media such as movies and reinactions. Selling those guns to someone who does not have the same license is a crime.
Not like I'm complaining about the fact we still can get all metal guns, but its no business that I'd like to get into(again). But thats why airsoft is so much more expensive compared to the south. |

Which is why they're bloody expensive. You can still get full metal G&G, ICS, CA, G&P, Ares, <insert others> guns. You just have to have money and patience.
