Walther P99 - Which One To Buy?
Hey Guys; Gordo here again. I am kicking around the idea of getting a Walther GBB P99 or P22 air soft gun, and I could use some advice on which one to buy.
Anyone have any good experiences with any particular brand of Walther? I know the Maruzen makes one, but I hear a lot of negative things about Maruzen so I am kind of shying away from that one. I believe that KWC makes one as well, but I can't find much info on them. Anyway any tails of woe or recommendations would be much appreciated. Later Gordo

Maruzen will be miles ahead of KWC.
... Unless KWC is just re-branding Maruzen. |

To be honest, I haven't heard anything good about either brands, but if it's your only choice, I think Amos has the right of it.. Your only other option would be to try to custom build one, and put in the parts you want, which would result in a great quality gun, but it'll be on the pricey side.

maruzen hands down, whoever spoke ill of that company should be shot.
They make a handfull of gbb's not even the "legendary" Western Arms has made. Their p99 is actually quite a reliable peice. More so than some of their other oddballs. Metal slides are plentifull (again compaired to their other oddballs) Look for reviews on arnies, you wont be disapointed. |

Maruzen P99's are nice, a friend has 2, the James bond special edition (bought in Japan) and the standard one model (bought in Japan). The mags on his 2 guns are not compatible.
If you want part availability buy other brands. Maruzen makes very high end and sometimes fussy guns. |
