CA SCAR-L Grenadier

This is my CA SCAR-L. It was originally tan, but I've painted it black, and will later paint it again in a more "custom" pattern.

Parts:
10x 75rds PMAG's (Magpul)
3x 120rds grenades (Classic Army)
4x 18rds grenades (Classic Army)
1x M203 short grenade launcher (Classic Army)
1x EOtech 551 copy (G&P)
1x black cat (Felis catus :lol

Enjoy

If you want to know anything that I haven't descriped/writen about, then just ask

I just wonder why do you paint that beauty in black, why don't just buy another one instead since you don't pay double price like us in Canada ?

I would use the EGLM, that would look bad ass on SCAR.

Ca scar needs modification for an EGLM to work. And right now the only way to get one is from someone who bought the Star version and doesn't want it anymore. Soon VFC, soon.

WaterWar, I have the same 75rnd PMAG's and they fit a bit snug in my CA SCAR-L. Do you have the same issue? They fit fine in my CA M4's and drop out when released no problem. They're not tight enough to be an issue, they just need a little shove to get them in and a little tug to release them from the magwell.

I agree with KND though. Should have left her tan. To each their own.

I think they're just a bit tight on scars in general. Same thing with me, fits fine, but doesn't drop out of the magwell when I push the release. Needs a light pull and its out. Probably just the Scars magwell dimensions being a tad smaller than the conventional AR

Mine is also a bit tight, but nothing that is annoying. I think it's because the SCAR lower reciever is plastic and because of that there is a lot more friction compared to if it were metal

It's the same hing on my CA SCAR-H. All mags (regardless of brand - even CA ones) fit pretty snugly. I'm thinking its the polycarbonate lower receiver. It has a slight bow at the mag-well with the peak of the bow squeezing the sides of the mags.

Kinda annoying, cause I've been so accustomed to dropping my mags when I play with my JG HK416. But whatever, I still love her.

Here's a few pics while I'm at it...
