I know I've been here awhile, but this is still a newbie ish question I guess.

What mags would be reccomended for use with the VFC AKS74U, I've done some searching but I'm not finding much

MAG - AK74 Mags Work best

I use them too. A bit pricey for a box but worth it.
It can feed for fast rate firing.

Lipo and 12v NiMh battery works well with these mags. No Jams and if you use such a high battery power like me you can pretty much simulate the bullet effects on sand like a helicopter machine gun would in desert chase scene
