Question about green gas
Hello there airsoft gurus, I never used this brand of gas before. My question is : is this gas safe to use on my marui pistol with metal slide? and why is this gas has some sort of strong smell? The other brand of gas I used before this was odourless.
Thanks |

You can save yourself an assload of money by using propane instead of green gas. Green gas is nothing but propane wtihout the stink and with silicone oil added. With a $20 AI propane adapter kit (includes silicone oil), you can use $3 Coleman propane cannisters that will last longer than your $20 cannister of green gas. The savings are HUGE.
As for your question, yes it's safe to use. And the scent of the gas is simply an additive by the different manufacturers. It has no effect on performance.
