Replacement AEG Mag Springs?
So, question,
I've never seen this come up. Where would one find replacement springs for AEG Mags? I have 2 mags whose springs are done. Stretching them out is a very temporary fix. Time for new springs! |

Probably easier to just buy new mags... What brand are they?

KA 68rds.
I have enough mags already, but I just thought of fixing up a few extras for loaners/sellers/"in case shit happens" mags. |

You can pick up a couple cheap plastic locaps and harvest the springs from them. The alternative is to find a spring manufacturer and go through their catalogue.

Probably cheaper with item cost + shipping + time just to buy new mags.

Yeah, I emailed KA just to check. As I said, time is not a factor, as these are loaners, etc. In addition to just wanting them, curiosity has taken hold...

Are they metal mags? Keep them around if they are. Maybe someone will have a cracked plastic locap or midcap someday and the two of you can make one working mag together.
