WE Hi Capa M1911 cannot fire horizontally...
Hello, so for some reason I cannot fire a round when I sight a target while holding the pistol normally and pulling the trigger. The trigger is loose and when I pull it nothing happens. The strange part is when I hold the pistol pointed to the ground I can fire a round. I can also fire a round when I hold the pistol pointed up vertically as well. I was hoping any experts here would possibly know what's the deal with that.

used to be Spencer aka Sue

I would check the sear spring located in the back of the grip (under the beavertail safety) If it's not bent forward enough, it doesnt put pressure on the trigger mech. I'm not a GBB expert by any means, but I had a similar problem with my WE 1911 a few weeks ago and sorted it out there.
