TM Glock 17 Gen3 slide not locking back
Sometimes, when I shoot and run of of bb's, my glock's slide doesn't lock back when it's suppose to.
I do not know why, but i can tell you this. My glock has been upgraded, its got a metal slide and an enhanced recoil spring, shooting on stock magazines using "air duster gas". Do you think the air duster gas simply idoesn't have enough power to push back the upgraded metal slide and recoil spring? Perhaps propane would fix that problem. Tell me what you think. Thanks, -Rick |

1.) Remove the slide.
2.) Insert an empty mag (no bb's). 3.) You will notice when the mag is inserted it will come in contact with the slide catch...it looks like a little triangle. Sometimes this part needs to be bent or shaped to properly line up with with the new parts & accessories. Be very careful how much you bend it & HOW you bend it...don't @#$% it up! I had a TM G17 with the same problem & it had a Guarder slide and an after market frame. Works like a charm now with the new PGC slide, hiflow & recoil/hammer springs. Good luck!
