CA by a long shot
CA quality is hit and miss sometimes, but it's always only the piston and tappet plate that aren't reliable. CA makes good metal and decent plastic. But internals mean nothing since they can be easily and cheaply replaced, especially since they make good motors and gears (which are the two most expensive things to replace).

G&G is a prime example of how your product quality has NOTHING to do with how much money you make, they're guns are crap, the bodies are made of materials that were never meant to be put under strain, their plastic is weak, their internals last a while but I'd rather have TM internals, and they openly lie about their gun's performance. They spent too much on marketing and not enough on quality materials, unfortunately most people know nothing of basic metallurgy and think these guns are alright. Just like how people buy KIA cars.

Again, I'm waiting for someone to factually support why G&G metal bodies are materially any worst than CA, G&P, SRC or anyone else that uses zinc alloys.

As for their plastic, I've seen no sign that it's inferior to CA's in any fashion. Certainly looks and feels better than TM, but the bar's not particularly high there.

I'm currently trying to decide between a CA SCAR-L or a G&G SCAR-L. From my take on this matter from input in this thread is that CA is the way to go. But does anyone have any opinions on these specific guns? Any and all help is appreciated.

I've got a CA SCAR-L right now. The look and feel of the rifle is absolutely amazing. The upper receiver is a sweet solid metal, better than any other I've felt. The lower plastic receiver, as well as the stock, is a super tough ABS that barely flexes when I put force on it. All in all a solid rifle in terms of the feel.

As for the internals I've never fielded it. However, test firing it, it sounds great and is very consistent. Other AEG's I've used have been less consistent in the sound they make with each shot, especially in full auto, where you get some shots sounding a little higher-pitched, some a little lower. With the CA SCAR every shot sounds the exact same, even in full auto.

I've never handled a G&G though. So I guess my opinion is biased lol. But that's my input.

Rifle's up for sale though. Here's the FS thread.. Take a look.
