Expresspost or standard post, with full insurance. Though more often than not I've been considering using FedEx because CP seems increasingly incompetant.

I've only ever done it with Xpress Post, and have only ever asked for Xpress Post.

I heard that FedEx's quality has been declining, so I would rather go Xpress Post or use some other private courier. Although there have been some CP fuckups recently so it's really your choice. DEFINITELY NO UPS (because they're shit)

I agree with above. UPS will tend to charge extra on top of shipping cost for "anything" including what "comes out of their asses".

Just as has been said Sean, Xpress post with enuf insurance to cover the value in case of cpost fuck up. Package it well, tape up your box or case, then wrap it with wrapping paper, white side out, or actual packing paper. Little extra effort before giving it to them and they cant say you didnt pack it right implying its your fault.

I have had amazing experience getting computer parts shipped from the States using DHL. Extremely fast service, Tracking numbers that don't take 48h to appear, etc. Not always available as a shipping method, but my choice anyday.

Yeah DHL is actually pretty good too, they actually left a notice at my door instead of just dumping it in the bush. (The package in question was a ~ $100 keyboard). Although I have heard some people having hit and miss service with them they generally seem pretty good.

Xpress or Expedited. I've seen DHL, ICS couriers at work and i would never ship with them. I have never had problems with UPS yet.

I always insure for 1,000.

Despite complications, and complaints, Canadapost is still the most widely used postal service to ship your gun in Canada.

Its not like, UPS, Fedex, DHL, or some other company never messed up an order, and made mistakes. That is why insurance is available as an option. You can't beat Canadapost's prices.
