What slide is he trying to use the BBU on? I've heard issues with 1911 metal kits....

KEVORKIAN's parts COMPLETELY remedied the problem.
Gun returns to FULL battery. It was kind of a bitch to install, but I find that if you use the Hi-Capa 5.1's recoil rod in the loading nozzle to align the screw holes (loading nozzle, and retainer), you'll save yourself a MAJOR headache. Thanks Kev! |

I used my screwdriver...lol
Are you using the floating valve with the SD kit or the stock floating valve? The SD one does not work as it allows the gun to blowback, but not BB comes out. Very common issue and the remedy is to use the stock valve in conjunction with the SD nozzle.... |

There's a slight possibility that SD has FINALLY noticed the screwup and corrected it... but I haven't seen it happen yet and it's been about 2 years since the kit came out.
Basically, if after firing the gun, the first shot will escape and the slide blows back fine. The floating valve then gets stuck in the nozzle after the first shot. On all follow-up shots, the gun will blow back only, but no BB ejects. If this occurs in your set, then you'll need to swap the floating valve back to what you were using before. If it works fine, let us know! Maybe SD fixed it... |

I got everything working. Slight hop-up issue. Fixed it, now I'm going to try and perform a trigger job in time for the IPSC match. Wow, for a while there I was going to buy a glock. Heh. After a mag of .25s with this, I doubt it'll happen. Muahahahahaha. 2011s forever! |
