USP trouble again

Hi, I really hope someone can help me out.

I was just shooting my USP .45 at my target to make sure it was ready for a small game I'm going to. After shooting it a few times the hammer just locked up and is unable to move far enough back to ketch. The hammer will however move all the way back if the trigger is compressed but will not fire. It's as if the safety is on or something. The de-cocker still works too so its not the safety. I have no idea what it could be so if anyone has any ideas it would be extremely appreciated.

I'm also willing to ship my gun off to someone who has a better idea of what there doing. I looked for a gun docker who can work an a ksc but the only person it seems is ken from 007 and he is too busy to work on my problem.

Thanks again and i look foreword to hearing from you guys.

Well you tried cleaning out the hammer area and pouring her with gun lube then moving the hammer with your thumb over and over again?

I'm heading back to Oakville on the 30th, I used to have a KSC Mk23 which is practically the same gun. If you don't have it fixed by then I don't mind taking a gander.

I justed tried that and it didn't work. I think the problem is more serous than that. The trigger can be pulled but it will not disengage the hammer. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the linkage some where but i really have no idea.

Thanks for the idea thought.

your unlucky, this usually only happens when you try to fire the gun with the saftey on, and usually only the saftey gets damaged; sounds like the the canteliver arm, linkage from the trigger to the hammer release. its a flat metal arm on the letf side (right below the saftey) now either the spring has come disengaged or the catch has broke on the hammer end. but to me it sounds like its on the trigger side of that piece. your going to have to take it apart to verify and you may need to order a new trigger. assy and arm. (termanology may not be correct)

I agree. It sounds like another broken USP trigger, a problem more common on the older compact models. There's a guy advertising in the parts section, he's a KSC parts dealer. I think his user name is Tirador. If you take the slide off and look in from the top, you should be able to see if the trigger linkage on the right side is moving when you pull the trigger. If it's not, then it's the trigger thats busted.Good luck.

Ok, i guess i have to just take it apart to see whats wrong. I have been dreading this because it seems really complicated with allot more small parts than any other gbb I've seen. If anyone is willing to help or if anyone knows how to fix this problem than i have no problem shipping it off to some one who knows what there doing. If you have any ideas please post hear.

thanks.
