Not a hundred percent cure on this model.

I recently picked it up and I was playing around with it. At the front hand grip just behind the forward sling mount is a two handle twist that I twisted and it looks as though it locks up under the barrel. Not sure if it is supposed to be locked or free.

It's just for show. The slide doesn't (or shouldn't) travel forward far enough to engage the lock. I think on the real steel it's used to lock the pump for auto feeding.
