ICS M4 RIS problem/Looking for a Gun Doc in the London area
There are really two problems.
1. On some trigger pulls the piston engages but does not release. I have been fixing this problem by taking out the rear pin and splitting the top half of the gun away from the trigger assembly on the front pin. This causes the piston to release sending the loaded BB down range. 2. The safety/fire select switch isn't working right. The trigger pulls through the safe position, and I get full auto on all selections. I don’t know if these are regular problems or if I am the only one. Anyone out there know how to fix this? |

First of all, our location?
Second, piston problem could be your battery, what battery are u using, good charger, charged. ect. Safety lever could be broke or lose inside. Full auto thing happened with mine, I fixed tht through alot of observations, then some modifications to the cut off lever and selector plate.

#2 problem is either ur selector plate, saftey latch or the selector switch. My money is on selector plate or selector switch or plate as your gun is shooting full auto on all positions. Check to see if the Cam like plate on the inside of your switch is intact and not damaged, if not, then check to see your selector plate is not damaged

The third problem is probebly the cut-off lever. My ICS M4 had this problem two weeks ago untill I changed the the cut-off lever. The secon problem is probebly the saftey latch. first problem is most likely low battery or your battery is not powerful enough to crank over the piston. Did you take apart your mechbox and/or upgrade anything lately?
