That's the microcontroller (i.e. the brains) not either the main (big thing on the left) or braking (on other side of the board) mosfet.

But yes, it's socketed!

And the low shipping price is thanks to the package being small enough, so domestic shipping is nice and low if it's sent as regular mail. Xpresspost is much more expensive though.

I'm not really familiar with the AUG, but you can splice into existing wiring for any of the connections you need to make to minimize hassle.

So far the easiest has been the AK. The trigger and motor contacts are separate and run right outside the mechbox. Super easy.
