Ebaybanned - Multicam Field Shirt & Pants R6 style Uniform Set

Hi all!

I just received my MultiCam replica from EBayBanned :

http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=139

First of all, I'm not able to compare against the real MC from Crye Precision since I never had MC before today.

Second, all the opinions you will read from this text is from a newbie vision since I'm relatively new to this Hobby/Sport.

Third, French is my primary language.

So let's go :

EbayBanned :

Never had any problems with Paul. I somehow thought problems where going to happen since the status of my order never changed from the day I pressed on "checkout" buttons and the day I received my package.

Quote:
All items will be shipped within 24-48 hours after your payment is cleared (excluding weekend and holidays). Normally the package will arrive in 7 to 14 days. Buyers will receive our email notification once the item is shipped.
But finally, I received my package without any problems.

Package :

Shipped air mail from Hong Kong for 0$...
The package was a bit too tight for my BDU + tactical goggles. A bit of plastic on my goggles bend but nothing to complain.

Price :

You can't beat the price of this kit. 49US$ shipped to your door without any customs fees/taxes, this is very nice!

Quality :

It's a china replica so there is some minor defects but once again, nothing to complain. The velcro is solid. The interior of the BDU is white/tan ; I already had problems with cheap BDU from China that had the white interior (A sign that the color won't last long) but this one seems better. You can see a color difference where knee pad and elbow pad should go, the tissue is not same.

Against CADPAT
:

I already own a Frontenac CADPAT BDU. The MC BDU is heavier and bulkier than Frontnac's BDU. The CADPAT BDU is WAY more flexible than de MC.

Against real MC :

I will try to compare with real MC as soon as I can find a genuine MC BDU. But from now, this photo is taken from my living room with light coming from the windows.

On the field :

Coming soon...

Pictures :

Pros :

- CHEAP!
- Good quality, looks solid.
- Color looks like real MC (from what I saw)

Cons :

- Minor defects.
- Color difference where knee pads and elbow pads should go.
- Must be careful when you wash it ; ask your mom and/or wife.

I will update this review as soon as I play some games with my BDU.

Hope this helps!

Great review! Very informative. And on another note, your bed is intense (I assume the zebra print was a bed, correct me if i'm wrong).

Is the colour difference on the knee area due to the use of Cordura? This is done with real Crye pants, as it is a major wear point, only with Crye, the match is identical where they change material.

Me and my gf (she studies in Fashion Design) are pretty sure this is Cordura.

Thanks for the review. It's nice to see some different angles, details and close-ups that aren't shown on the EbayBanned website. I think I'm going to order a set of these tonight.

(Note to self: Multicam will be completely ineffective if hiding within a herd of zebras.)

I don't think it was specifically mentioned, but what was the total delivery time for the BDU. Was it under the 14days mentioned on the website?

12 days including weekends

By the way, if you need specific pictures just ask!

LOL on the zebra comment,

Well bud you came through! Thank you, they look pretty good, considering in Kingston $45 dollars will only get you a Frontenac cadpat shirt, $30 if your lucky.

Comfort? (are they ichy ? and any comments on comfort)

Did you get the pads that they sell as well or do you have your own?

If someone lives near Pacheko and has REAL MC could you try to contact each other that would be great.

Can you post your Goggles and are they Paintball approved?

Again thanks bud, I might have to get a pair, beats cutting off an arm for just a real MC shirt.... I wounder if they would give a discount by minusing a sleeve?

I'll talk about comfort as soon as I can play with it. But on the first try, the pants a perfect but the top may be a little to rigid.

I don't have the "real" pads for MC BDU. I will use standard Tan knee pads / elbow pad.

And for goggles.. I don't think they are paintball approved but they look perfect for airsoft. Once again, I can't compare against real Bollé T-800. But AFAIK, the lens are compatible. I'll make a review really soon.

Hope this helps!

And thank you all for your comments!

Psst - you're only an hour's drive away from Bradley's Surplus by Ft Drum.

I just ordered a set from these, cause well, why the hell not, it's $48. I'm hoping for "excellent", but since it's only $48, I'll take "sufficient".
