thoe the JG416 looks real close to the real HK416, the RIS isnt quite the same.
on the real HK416 as in the VFC416, the RIS has a small tab that inserts into the front notch on the upper reciver which locks the RIS in and stops it from rotating. good luck with you JG416, you are going to need to find someway of locking it in place.

You have to take off the RIS rail system, and tighten the barrel nut. I had the same problem. I geussing you already know how to take the RIS system off, right? But take off the RIS rail system off and tighten the barrel nut.
Good luck ! |

I just got my JG HK416 yesterday and I've been tryin to fix the same problem. But I can't slide the RIS off. I believe if I do, I can enlarge the upper tab with some stiff tape. I just can't slide it off.

Take off the screw on the underside of the RIS off, slide the RIS off, piece of cake.

It's not that easy. I have to use force but I don't want to over do it

Mine comes off really easily. Dunno. You have to make sure it clears the front sight block cleanly. Maybe it's getting stuck up on that?

What would be holding it on?
