As long as the battery is disconnected from the gun, you'll be fine. I know that getting the battery in and out of the M16 is a pain, so I just leave mine in there, and charge it in the gun.

anytime my bb's curve a quick clean of the barrel fixes it. I found with my gun it needed a couple thousand rounds for the groupings to tighten up.

Systema uses their cylinder grease (lithium basically) to lube the hop-up components.
Give it a swab out, then run some rounds through it. The hop-up should be and stay dry, no silicone or anything in there. It will be most consistant that way.

What board should I look for, the one in the stock or in the lower receiver? The board in the stock has a clear plastic sheathing. So if that is the one I should be looking for, then its a 3.5. No big deal. Its the weight that I was looking for and man, I am not looking forward to humping the C7 on BMQ. :'( I did clean the barrel, but have yet to see if there is an increase in accuracy, or should I say, no more curve ball. Its way too dark outside.
