Oh man, I've got a grin from ear to ear. The burst is really fun, and the grouping is pretty good, for what it is.

Single shot, well for some reason, I got a right hand curve for most bb's Its sighted with my red dot, the iron sights for some reason just don't line up, but I hardly use the iron sights anyways.

I've got the M16, so its longer and the added weight, well, lets just say, I'll need to work out with weights for me left arm only.

Either way, I am extremely happy for spending that kinda money on it. The PTW bug has bitten me and maybe even consider an M4 later, much later.

The only issue I have with the M16A3 is the initial upper receiver separation, I followed the picture from the manual and nearly gave myself a hernia, thumbs went all blue, started to sweat.

installing the battery was also a pain, and well, its staying in there discharge and charge, unless someone says thats a no-no.

Now all I gotta do is wait for my M.O.U.T chest pack from Seals Gear to arrive and I'm set for TTAC.

I really, really like the simulated bolt release, each time you change mags, tap that release and you're good to go.

For CBQ, the length will be a concern, but I'll just hang on the outside and cover their butts doing the entry.

Will need to get a sling for it, most likely a 2 point.

Oh, one more thing, do I need to spray lube in the mags once in a while?

Happy, Happy right now.
Awesome! Is your M16 an '08? I think that may be the first in Canada !

And I can't wait to see it! Let me know when you're going to ttac. Maybe we can get three ptws goin' at the same time (eh, stokes?!)

The circuit in the gun will apply a constant power draw on the battery. If you leave it in there long enough, the low current is enough to damage the battery by draining it below its minimum.

As long as the battery is disconnected from the gun, you'll be fine. I know that getting the battery in and out of the M16 is a pain, so I just leave mine in there, and charge it in the gun.

I wouldn't ignore that. You shouldn't have to settle for anything with a PTW. If the BB's are curving off sideways, the hop-up may not be working properly.

What year / generation is the PTW? I've heard of this with the older nubbings.

anytime my bb's curve a quick clean of the barrel fixes it. I found with my gun it needed a couple thousand rounds for the groupings to tighten up.

Systema uses their cylinder grease (lithium basically) to lube the hop-up components.

Give it a swab out, then run some rounds through it. The hop-up should be and stay dry, no silicone or anything in there. It will be most consistant that way.

Yeah, that is like french to me.

What board should I look for, the one in the stock or in the lower receiver?

The board in the stock has a clear plastic sheathing. So if that is the one I should be looking for, then its a 3.5. No big deal. Its the weight that I was looking for and man, I am not looking forward to humping the C7 on BMQ. :'(

I did clean the barrel, but have yet to see if there is an increase in accuracy, or should I say, no more curve ball. Its way too dark outside.
