Post Tm G36 maintenance

Hello ppl,

It's been two games of airsoft I've been playiing and I was wondering, what maintenance shall we do on an AEG?

I was a paintball player and aftereach game I used to dismount all the parts of the gun to wash and to oil.

Do i have to do the same with my G36?

After each game I just clean the barrel using the cleaning rod and small felt pads, and use a damp cloth to wipe any dirt off of it. That should be all the cleaning you need to do for it. Maybe once a season use a bit of silicone oil in your magazines.

If it's a stock gun, open it up once every two years and check for wear and tear on the bushings, piston, etc, relube the mechbox, and you're good to go. For an upgraded gun I think most people do this at least once a year, and maybe once per season.
