Using Crane Stock

Ok I need a how to. On the use of the crane Stock.
Everytime I load the battery in, I damage the Wires and the damn thing takes 10 mins of finiking to get out.

Im wondering if the cables may be to long.
Im puting the smaller battery in first in the Stock Tube. Then the 2 longer ones in the Crane stock.. but then the darn wires get all jumbles up and stuck in back of the stock. Then I end up dammaging the sleves on the batterie .......there must be a better way!

Once the small one is in the center tube, Tape up the other wires together then feed em down the tube first, before cramming everything in

Or try one of those GnP battery holders, depending on what brand of crane you have it might work

Im using the Crane stock from CA on the CQB M15.
I saw those GNp holders do they fit with the CA M15 Crane Stock?

i would reccommend getting the "phone cord" styleharness that coils itself up.

i find that if you put the battery in the stock first, then deans connectors fit perfectly in the rectangle groove that slides on the bottom of the stock tube. then just plug the wire from the gun into the battery, pull the connection out of the groove, and slide the stock on.

I always take my time and fit the battery and stock slowly.

If you can't get the battery out, try to tilt the stock in different angle because the wires are locked at the back of the stock, so tilting the stock in different angle will give the battery wires some room to move out of place.

Also, try to use a crane battery with 20 or 22 awg wire...the stock wire is 22 awg if I'm not wrong. Thinner wires usually gives you more room to move the battery around.

I absolutely hate the batteries you speak of, their the worst jumble'o'wires Ive ever seen lol
Save yourself ALOT of hassle and just buy a G&P crane stock with the appropriate G&P batteries, makes life so much easier
Anyway what goes on in the G&P stocks, instead of having phonecord wires, they just rotate them so they get that phonecord look, makes a big difference

I know this is a G&P and I know its a bad picture, but I had the same issues as you did when I bought my Prime Crane Stock. With the Prime buffer tube I couldn't even get the smallest cells + wires to fit in. I switch guns and tried it with my G&P buffer and it fit fine. So I would suggest to try cutting away the sides of your buffer tube as in the picture above. What I do then is line the wires up so they fit along side of the cut away part and now I can slide my stock down to the furthest with ease.
