Motor Pinion Gear to bevel gear meshing

Is this the correct procedure when trying to ensure proper (not tight-not loose) meshing between the Motor Pinion Gear and Bevel gear after reassembly?

flip the gun upsidedown with a mag full of bbs.

Then shoot on auto and starting with a slightly tightened bottom of handle screw keep tightening until the the g36 is making the quietest sound without screeching.

TIA

I tried checking the meshing with a tiny screw driver to make sure the pinion gear was meshing well when I reattached the motor, but maybe this does not mean much.

edit: thanks greatly m102404, I printed that out.

Firing full auto like I was doing? wth Sometimes I need to use common sense
