agm m14 opinions ?

Hi !

I know there has been a thread asking the same question but since the guy asked it in a very poor way, the answers were biased lol

Just wanted to know if any of you have this M14 and what are your opinion of it ?

thanks a lot

I owned the AGM M14 in a "sniper" configuration. Very nice AEG. All metal, shot a stable 335-337 fps (or so) out of the box, with a very, very high rate of fire with a good battery. Quite accurate too.

The semi auto stopped working after a while, but that is supposedly a problem with TMs too, and can be remedied with a simple Guarder replacement part.

Cheers,
Alex

The one that comes with it is just a regular wall charger. A better one would be nice, but the one that comes with it does the job alright... I suppose.

For the charger, always keep in mind how important properly charged and discharged batteries are.
The last thing you want to do with an Electric gun is to guess about it's source of power.
So do yourself a favor and invest in a decent charger. If you dont, we will hear about it eventually (asking often-repeated advice on how to tell when a battery is charged or not).
Up to you.
PS, if not already done take the time to get age-verified.

.. Havn't had many good experiences with AGM M14's.. There use to be 2 of 'em on my team... One got traded away, the other fell apart... Alot of it is held together with shoddy pot-metal set screws.

As of now, I've had my M14 for about 9 months, and to date there have been no problems with it. It has worked perfectly. It is a beast of a gun and has been able to take a beating. It has a high rof and fps from the factory, which is quite nice. I have the AGM MP40 as well and I have had no problems with that. (I did drop it last night so we'll see what happens with that but hopefully it should be good.)

I also managed to lose the screw that holds the scope mount to the frame, so I'll have to find something else that can fill it's place, shouldn't be hard since my buddy is a machinist.
