Hi-capa 5.1 (dragon II)

Not totally major, but when you empty the mag, it's supposed to stay open right? well mine has only done that once, any suggestion?

Also, not really major, but anyone know how to take off the slide on the Hi-capa (dragon II)? because it's a 2 part slide, but i cant seem to get it off. thanx

How old is the gun? Sounds like the slide catch is worn down = very common on the WE. I had one & replaced it with a Nineball sllide catch - worked fine after that. What are you using for gas? Running low on pressure? Is it upgraded?

To take the slide off a Dragon, you need to remove the static half of the slide. There's a hex screw on the bottom of the gun. It should've included a small Allen key just for that screw.

Try lubing your slide release with a light coat of lithium grease.

im pretty sure the slide catch isn't worn down already, i just think it's not recognizing when the mag is empty.

I have also found on the WE magazines that the internal spring is weaker than a TM. The TM mag also fits a little snugger when inserted & it doesn't have as much slop in the magwell !

Are you using propane or what?

TM all the way !

mine did that also....

I just modded my mag catch a bit and everything went perfect after....

just file down the mag catch a bit....

you know if you hold the gun barrel left side.

the mag catch is made a bit like that (the part that catch)

_____/ | <- file here, with a slight angle so it looks only a tiny bit like
_____/ /
Not that much though (I dont have the gun nor a pic of it anymore)
do a little then try and do more...
