CYMA CM 031 ak74 any thoughts?
I would like your thoughts about this gun, I know that CA TM etc are better and some people again say they have had good service out there cheaper china made products. I have read 2 reveiws about this gun and bought reveiws have been very positive.
thanks Gavin |

You're right, CA and TM are better, but apparently the new CYMA's aren't half bad. At least the highest model CYMA's like that one, I believe.

It looks great, but is all plastic. The guy at our field that uses one has used it heavily for 3-4 games and it has functioned flawlessly so far.

From personal experience: stay away from chinese guns...unless you're going to swap out internals.

All plastic? I assume you mean the receiver/front sight block, and grips only, not all the other parts, such as the barrel assembly, sights, topcover, safety and cocking handle, trigger, trigger guard, etc, etc, etc. Same as a TM AK-47.

I have a CM031 as well as a CM035 and CM031B, all work great and have not had any problems with them. My CM031 shoots better out the box then any of my stock Tokyo Marui Aeg's.

Thanks for the your input . I received the Cm 031 and bought a cm 028. I was very lucky as I could buy them both at wholesale , which means when they break or when I feel like upgrading it will be cheap. I have been testing them both and both work well .I have gone over everything with the 2 guns ,I polished the internal of the barrels on both and lubed just the hopup , this seem to improved the accurtice , Aslo put a 9.6v 1100 mah battry in both , as i do not have a chronie I used the poor mans one . Both guns shoot straight thru both sides when I shot the back part the bb's dented the hard part of the tin, I would judge the speed was in about 300 to 330 fps, to me the cm028 does not feel as solid as the cm031 ,Cyma may be on the cheap side but it seems that they have pulled finger and have reworked there products. I have seen older Cm028 they are not as well made as this one(cm 028) i got. the hole gun feels solid , no scratches , trigger felt positive, speed and fps was acceptable for any stock gun.
