Trigger assembly problem
Hello all, I have a customised CA SLR-104 with romanian ak folding stock that I did myself. I had to rewire the aeg, removing the fuse and re routing the wires to the front in order to use a stick battery. The aeg worked perfectly, and no issues arose. One day I went to test the ak before a skirmish the next day. I charged the battery, pulled the trigger, and nothing happened. There was no sign of the motor trying to turn, or gears locking. I suspected it might be an electrical problem. I opened the mechbox to see if anything was broken, and everything was intact. I took the trigger and pulled it, pushing the male contact into the female ( while holding the motor in one hand, with the battery pluged in). the motor didnt turn. I pushed the male contact into the female with my finger further than the trigger does, and the motor worked. It seems that the contacts only work when they are pushed in further than the trigger allows, which makes no sence. I can't figure out why this isnt working, since the trigger matched up with the male contact perfectly, and the spring is placed right. Any ideas?
