Maruzen M870

Hey,

I have just fitted a new G&P T8 Fore grip and it get stuck but like you don't know, the foregrip is the last part of the opening process so now i just don't want to open it to sand down inner side of the foregrip so i know i can get a metal body but i'm looking for a Metal Outter Barrel but i only find some for CA870 just wondering if it fit or not. I just want the same length but if i can only get the long version with the extended shell tube i will.

Anyone have tried have this gun with metal barrel ?

Don't metal barrels cost over $200? (Correct me if I'm wrong) If so you might as well put that money towards a Tanaka M870 :P

Shit, mine is new and i tried to cut a little bit of the foregrip with an exacto (fine job ) but i screwed the trade mark....and it's still really sticky when pumped all the way.

UPdate : VFC / GB-Tech M870 Metal Barrel & Magazine Tube Set for Maruzen CA870 ( 10 Inch ), In Stock, US$57.50 just don't know the lenght of my stock barrel, not at home right now, but it fit the CA870 not the M870 but if someone can tell me more about that !

I installed a G&P flashlight pump on my old M870 and it was fine. Didn't stick or have any fitment issues... was pain in the ass to get the pins out with those stupid retaining washers.

Looks like you gotta go through the painful process of taking her apart, again. Check that the pump is on corectly before putting it all back together.

The G&P metal front ends for the CA870 are not 100% compatible with the M870. The spacers and barrel end that attaches to the body are different. You could put some work into it but I wouldn't reccomend it.

Buying a metal receiver and front end will put your gun into the same price range as the Tanaka m870, so I would not recommend investing more money into your shotty for that reason and your gun has a limited life span. Maruzen's are really fun but the internals are fragile so your gun will break sooner than expected and you'll be left with a pricey all metal wall-hanger. Keep it stock, run it on duster for longer life or propane for serious fun and a short life.
