Gear problem
The little "pin" thing on the "tappet" gear for some reason is stopping the gear from moving freely. i tried pushing it in more, and it wont go in any further. the gear only can move around 180 degrees.

You mean the "pin" is being stopped by a neighbouring gear? If that's the case, it's a shimming problem.

But i havent changed anything inside the gearbox except the switch assembly
EDIT: I guess the gear is called the sector gear. The pin that moves the tappet plate is too far down, but it only moves to like 1/2 way so 1/2 is on each side of the gear. is the pin suppose to be only on one side? Last edited by krap101; July 24th, 2007 at 14:36.. |
