ok guy and girls....Iam just starting out i would like to know what company are good and which ones to stay away from......i played paintball and ref at flagraiders so i see some of you alot you guy have alway been super nice and helpfull and that why i'm getting into airsoft and away from paintball....

generally, for a good AEG you should stick to either Tokyo Marui, or Classic army, depending on your tastes.

check out, TM, CA, KSC, WA, KJW, Maruzen are more of the popular and reliable brands.

some emerging China brands are UTG, CYMA, Echo1/JG all who makes clones of the guns made in Japan.

If you see some of them on a regular basis, it won't be hard to drop by a game and ask the guys there. Try some out, fire a few rounds. Get opinions. Maybe play a game with them.

For starters, a TM or CA then just choose a a gun that you like.

Id like to recommend TM as something for starters, but if you got the money, go CA. But none the less, welcome aboard!
