Spring vs. Battery

I'm thinking of dropping a more powerful spring in my CA36 that shoots around 370-380, so I'm looking at a PDI 140% or MS110SP etc. However, I'm still running my gun on a small battery. I've taken some length out of the wire so I've soldered it, the fuse is still in though. I'm very conservative on the trigger -I've only blown through my battery once on a full day of playing. Now my question is will I still be able to power this spring using a 1500 Mah mini battery? Or am I going to need to do some modifuckations for a large bat?

MaH is how long the sucker will last, with that much power you might want to upgrade to a 9.6v at least. a fair amount of MaH and 9.6v and you will be set.

Usualy mah on mini battery wont do a whole lot for an upped spring, depends on the spring. Anyting over MS100 and youll need a sub c pack. Even my 10.8 mini wont run a larger spring on my ICS, but its pretty picky so

Grr... that's what I was afraid of... damned $30 upgrade quickly runs into a $100 one

My G36 is firing ~400 fps and I'm getting by ok with an 8.4V 1400mAh mini battery. If I'm heavy on the trigger I'll go through one battery approximately half way through the day but that's why I bring more than one battery.

I up graded my aug, it's shooting 420fps and the "AUG CUSTOM" 9.6v 1400mah will only give me about 5 mags (80 rnds each) before it's dead. I had to go to 9.6 3800mah

Hmm.. maybe I'll drop the spring in and try it with my 8.4 1500 mah batteries and upgrade the wiring/batteries if I need to.

I don't think I've ever gone through my six mags -my average for one skirmish is like 20-30 rounds . I'll try it on the mini batteries and see how it works.

Those are around the same price as cheapbatterypacks.com. Pretty good prices all round from both places though.
