Help with FTK and Gears
I have a G3 SG-1 that has been upgraded with the following:
G3 SG1 - Started as a stock TM CA metal body and cocking tube CA reinforced gear box Guarder chromium plated cylinder Guarder stainless cylinder head Guarder airseal nozzle Guarder switch assembly Systema polycarb piston Systema duracon piston head Systema steel standard ratio gears Systema metal bushings Systema bearing spring guide Systema brass tightbore 469mm TGS G3 selector lever PDI 130% Spring I have a broken tooth on one of my gears, and am now realizing that with Systema I have to replace the whole gear set because you can't buy just one gear...yay, I get to spend more money I have found a Systema FTK M160 for a good price. The specs on this kit are: Professional: Comes with Bore-up cylinder set, super torque-up Helical Gears, polycarbonate piston (zs-05-02), oilless metal bushing and M150 spring I know this spring is insanely way too powerfull, but would like to use the rest of the kit with my PDI 130% spring. Would this be compatible with my gun, and mainly the smaller spring? I know my ROF will go down, with torque-up gears, but this kit has a super torque-up gear set. How much could I expect my ROF to decrease with this? I am also concerned with semi-auto fire, will I get a large delay in firing? I have a Intelect 8.4 3600mah and the motor is the stock TM Are there any other serious problems I could encounter if I put this kit in? Is there another solution to getting another full gear set? Thanks everybody in advance for your help. Chris
