When to replace gears
Hey Guys:
How long (Or for approximately how many shots) do the stock TM gears typically last on AEGs with an Systema M120 or Prometheus 120 spring installed? |

depending on how u use it. I gave an m120 to a friend of mine and hes got stock TM gears. The gears wore off the night we were playing...
so... about a week they'll start to shread. Using an m120, i would definetly change gears. To insure your game time is on the field rather sitting and watching |

Or, they could very well last a lot longer than your mechbox (depending on the type, a few thousand rounds for the mechbox with a V2 type). Of all the guns I've repaired and upgraded over the past couple years, all types with all kinds of upgrades, the only gears I've seen fail were the ones in a G&P SPR, and in less than an 800rd lifecycle Classic Army SCAR. I have yet to see TM gears wear down a lot to be replaced, or even busted gears. You should be fine for a while in my opinion.
