Take it apart, separate the mechbox halves, and remove the spring guide/spring. Take the piston and slide it along the rails on the mechbox and see if it binds at all or is smooth and easy to move. If it binds, then use a file to open up the piston grooves until both halves slide easily. I had this problem with a Guarder full tune up kit two years ago, baffled me why the piston would jam back and not release.
This could NOT be your problem, but at least you eliminate the possibility. |

Poo. Maybe downgrade your spring to a better one, like a Prometheus 120? I've read the Systema 120 springs are insanely hot (ok, 420 or higher) and give a lot of resistance to motors and batteries. A Prometheus should put you around 400fps and be easier to pull back, therefore more battery life per charge.

Maybe if you got out of Stoner's Creek for a couple weeks the second hand pot smoke might get out of your system and you could solve the problem fast!
Lol, sorry, bad joke. I'm at a loss as to what is going on. What battery do you have? Didn't add it to your list of upgrades. |

You want to check BOTH sides of the channel, and also was the piston head a bearing head? IF so are you sure you've installed it properly as that it does not press against the spring guide? Also I'd highly suggest trying the stock piston if it is still in functioning order back in the box to see if its not the aluminum piston.

More mAh gives more strength to compress the spring. Nothing worng with trying one, he might be trying to use a 600mAh mini to pull back that thing for all we know.

He's talking about increasing the Voltage Stalker.
But with a full charge the 600mAh would still cycle it once :P. Which leads to one more thing, charging the battery helps :P.

Voltage is proportional with mAh. A motor will draw less current with a 9.6V than an 8.4V. Remember, voltage is pressure, current is supply. If the motor draws a constant amount of power, voltage vs. current acts like a see-saw.
