10.8 In The Front

I ordered this little green bastard gambling that it would fit into the front of my M4 even tho I knew it would obviously be bigger: :smack:

Well, it didn't fit, so I was forced to take matters into my own hands:

I sliced off the bottom three cells, turned a two pack battery pack into a three pack battery pack and custom fit the fucker to my front end.

Et voila! 10.8 whopping volts in an M4 front end.

A bit, but I could do it in the field. Let just say it at tolerance.

I could shorten the connections I soldered in, and it would fit better, but I want to run it at a game and then tear the mechbox down again to check for wear and alignment issues before I rework it.

Nice Mod, you are going to love it, speed is the name of the game! You should not have any issues I have been running mine for 1.5 years no issue to gun internals. The motor may wear faster but it is worth it for a little more punch in my opinion.

Good to know. And I agree..a motor is well worth the performance increase.

Your is a 700 right?

My AK is a 700 but my M4 is the 1000 motor. The one you saw was the AK with the 700, fast but not too fast. Quick reaction to trigger pull and snappy just the way I like it. The M4 shoots faster but the mags still keep up with it, I also have tourgue up gears in that one that slow it down slightly.
