MP5K Folding stock Question
Hello,
I would like to replace the sling mount endcap on my TM MP5K with a folding stock. Is there folding stock that just uses the two pins that the endcap uses? I would like to be able to change the battery just as fast and easy but would like a folding stock on this gun. If there is such a beast do you know the make and where a good place to purchase this from? Thanks Guys Lotech

The PDW stock that uses the same pins is all but impossible to find. There have been many wanted posts that have gone un answerd.
Use the search tool. Alot of people have put some pretty cool looking folding stocks on their K's. Personally I think the UMP stock looks best. No matter what you'll have to do some minor modding. (drilling a hole through the end cap. |

Hi Hedonism Bot, Thanks for such fast information. You are right about having a hard time finding these things. Would this be such a thing that we here in Canada can order from the WGC Shop or would customs think it is real and do the old grabaroo on me? Thanks

If you can find one it should get shipped with no issues. The problem is just that no one sells them. The only PDW type stocks are meant to go on different MP5's. You will see that the K has two extra plastic tabs that would have to be shaved off for one of those to work.
I have a K and looked into this awhile ago. Long story short I left it without a stock and bought a new gun. |

Hi
I put a ICS mp5 pdw stock on my mp5. To get it to work i had to grind down the end plate till it was smooth. Then it was just a matter of drilling two holes in the end plate. A member on the boards sold me the stock new for 80bucks, just can't remember the name right now. Anyways it is a pretty permanent mod, but it does look cool. Hope this helps. |
