Issues with my GSW XM8

Hey all, I just traded for for a XM8 with systema internals.
The gun fires great, but I am having issues with the body kit. The two main issues are:
1) Barrel wobble
2) Stock failure

The barrel wobble is the lesser of the two issues. The entire barrel set moves from the hopup unit forward. I have looked this thing over for hours and cannot find a way to shore up the unit. I am also not sure how to remove the barrel/hopup because I did not install the kit.

The Stock on the Xm8 usually does not lock into position. The locking mechanism works when the stock is off the kit, but once it is on, it never works. I was thinking of installing a sping or something to push the locking mechanism back in place. The issue is i am not sure I can work on the stock without splitting the body and i am quite sure it will permanently break the body kit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
