well I have heard that the pison and header that come stock are poop so I was wondering if a Systema piston and head would be compatible. Please let me know if you've used these in your CA M15 before and experience, if not please off suggestion as to what works best for you aswell as best prices you know of off the top of your mind, dont want you all to do unnecessary digging lol thanks in advance.

personally i prefer a CA piston over a systema non aluminum.

Marui's piston are the best for below 450 fps anyway.

Yes they are compatible. We have 3 members in our squad with the same model that have altered the interior at some point and the systema parts fit perfectly but personally I feel the CA replacement parts are better than some of the systema, notably the hop up for m4/m16 type.

+1

I swapped my CA piston/piston head with stock TM ones when I did an upgrade and its as good as before but more durable. CDN_Stalker tried to install a Guarder polycarbonate piston for me in my CA36 and it ground a notch out of the last tooth and wouldn't fire, slightly different dimensions.

ok so I gather I should be getting the TM piston and heads I shall just go and take a look for them in a little while, but yet another question has just come up now that I have gotten my rifle today, I can't figure out how to get the second RIS cover onto the left hand side of the foregrip, I feel like a bit of an idiot actually because it feels like its something simple that just isnt hitting me lol the first one went on perfectly but the second is blocked by the weapon sling attachment. Aside from these I must comment I am very impressed with this rifle thus far, has a nice weight to it and is not gleemy and the little extra details like the ejector port are cool.

the spacing in the piston teeth are a little different in ca guns, to compensate they made the piston head thinner so that it all sits further forward in the mechbox. this is why lutnit's piston failed. if you change the piston in a ca rifle, change the piston head too and it'll work just fine. same goes vice versa, if you change the piston head, change the piston too.
