Vests + M14's

as I'm well aware, finding a tactical vest that will accomidate m14 mag's is pretty tough.

I'm leaning towards a molle system, as I know I can find mag pouches that accomidate these magazines. does anyone know of some good vests/rigs that easily accomidate these mags?

Eagle and BHI (sure there are more) make molle pouches for M14 mags

TAG makes them as well in single and double flavor.

Keep in mind that MOST M14 MOLLE pouches, even though they may say 2 mags per pouch, generally only hold one easily.

You would do well to nab yourself a phantom CIRAS Land version in coyote brown, + some phantom m14 pouches.

ASCA has the CIRAS instock right now, it's what all the cool kids in O-town are wearing these days.

Phantom CIRAS all the way, just load up different mag pouches depending what gun you're using during the day.

Or you can go with the real deal Eagle Ind CIRAS if you have some spare money.

Just mod your Akrtis. Velcro and some webbing will do the trick.

Any MOLLE system will work once you find the M14 Pouches.

Yeah any MOLLE system will do, as long as you get the right pouches to stick on it....personally i've been using my weesatch and the internal mag pouches fit 2 in, but you have to have something under them to make them ride just that little bit higher....so it depends on what look you want. Beauty of MOLLE is you can slap whatever you fancy on there :P

if you only need 4 extra mags, the eagle universal rig is the bomb. theyre super easy access, and m14 mags fit beautifully. reloads are super quick seeing as how there's no flaps to fiddle with and the rig is extremely flat so you can move around with ease, also the back is completely garbage free letting you use any pack, hydration unit or midget rear gunner. ciras is just a glorified life jacket that cooks you in anything over 10 degrees, go light and low-pro.
