TM Glock 18c Maintenance
I've had my TM Glock 18c for almost a month but I was wondering how I could maintain it so it lasts as long as it can. I only do shooting at home so its exposed to very little dirt, maybe some dust at most but it sits in my drawer. Since its related to the functionality of an AEG, are there some similarities in the maintenance/care for it? What should I do because its afterall a pistol, not a true AEG.

make sure to keep your mags retardedly clean. even the smallest grit will cause a stoppage.

should I worry about the internals such as cleaning it and such. I don't really know how to open my aep nor do I really want to since I will probably forget what parts go where. Is there something I can clean that doesn't require taking apart the gun? How should I clean the barrel?

For cleaning the inner barrel, just buy the Outters .22cal cleaning kit from Canadian Tire, costs about $8, buy a pack of .22cal patches, 100 for $2, and that will cover you for pretty much any airsoft gun. Just be careful when you are close to the hop up rubber, it's a bitch to find a replacement. |
