thanks for the headsup on the piston stuff, i'll prolly get bartek to switch em up for me. right now i'm using my backup intellect 1400 and 1200, so it should be fine. but still, that 2600 wasn't a cheapo either... ah well, once the new piston set is in, i'll see if it works.

Look for GP brand batteries (Gold Peak)

They have just released the 2700mAh AA size cells...
but if you have an upgraded spring i don't recommend you using these.

I can have 2000 ish packs made out of 4/5A cells. So that could be good for you, if it fits....it is desinged for M4 at the base, but i'm sure you can rearange them to fit.

4/5A are the same diameter as 2/3A so you will never be able to fit two rows of them down the entire handguard. One possibility is to have a custom pack made and have one row of them down the center of the handguard and a block of them closer to the receiver where the mini pack normally lies. Don't know how many will fit in that space but its an idea.

Personally I've had a few too many guns to believe in custom battery packs anymore. One battery pack type for all my guns and thats the end of it. In my case thats large batteries because I have a sniper stock on my G36 and a large hand guard on my G36c.

your piston seizes because you don't have enough power to turn it over all the way. Guy had that problem in Halifax with a G36c, he rewired the battery pack and it fixed the problem.
