protective flashlight covers

is there any solutions for taking BB's in the bulbs? i'd like to buy a solution since anything i try to fabricate always ends in disaster.

unless its a easy fabrication answer.

anything i can buy for a standard taclight, or even specific sizes.

i tried google, ebay, and these forums with no luck.

Cut a piece of plexiglass and glue it to the front of the light? You could also glue this to some rubber weatherstripping or other such thing to make a tight removable fit.

The lens in an M3 tac light i had got shot out, so what i did was my buddy had some left over plexiglass about 3mm thick. What i did was i cut out a little square then i used a power sander/grinder to round it into a nice circle. Then once it was a nice circle and fit into the old lens houseing i took some super glue put it around the edges of the lens. Now be careful when u do that cause u dont want any on the plexi itself, just the egdes to hold it in. And it stayed in nicely. I sold shortly there after and the guy who bought it thought it was great.
