I was verified by Brian at TTAC3, and it took a few weeks to go through. Techobo was verified by Brian also, at the same time as me. His verification took significantly longer...

I don't understand why local reps have to send it our info to admins, as opposed to just verifying us themselves.

Perhaps reps' accounts should be given privileges that allow them to enable the "Age Verified" status of member's accounts?

Yes i know there is a special place in that board to post thing like that and that they will help you but guess what .............. i already post twice at that place since august and nobody is helping so that's why i post in General topic !

For those who say that getting age-verified doesnt change anything , well as you know now there is only 2 store left and one is asking to be age-verified to buy AEG, so yes that change a few things when you are not allowed to buy in 50 % of the store in Canada !

And for those who say " go and play with verifier that will help ! " I play all winter with one !!! so yes i play with registered team etc....... but still not age-verified.

I know the problem is not from verifier across Canada since "paper work" has been done and sent from a long time ago, ( twice ) problem is from those here at Airsoft Canada that run the Forum. ( just what i think ).

Gonash, I'm sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble getting age verified. Lisa was having problems with her email and may have lost your info. When I submit my list to her, I only do it with PMs on ASC. Usually, it takes less than a week for the guys. What I suggest is to ask the person that verified you, to resend your info by pm.

Another problem might be the info that was sent was incorrect. Your user name might have been misspelled. I usually go through the member's list to see if there is an exisiting name or would ask the person to send a PM to me to reverify his user name.

Drake, I've heard about your "use them and forget them" policy. I'm not falling for that! :lol:

Peace: the reason the reps can not modify the rights to users directly is because they would have access to the entire user record. It also provides accountability so we can see who's verifying who.

Because of the large amount of names coming in verification can take a few days once it gets to me, if it's more then 2 weeks (some reps save them up and send them to me at once) then it may have been lost.

Gonash, I feel for you. So much ridiculous hostility on this website at least the mods and vets are still respectable. If it means anything, here's one friendly face that supports and invites input from you.

sorry to hear it has taken this much time, I can also see how it can be extreamly frusterating. However rageing at a system isn't going to help. The system is what it is it has its flaws and you seem to be stuck in one of them. the people you are raging against are the only people who can help you in this regard. all there realy is for you to do is try again.

Here's good news and bad news....good news you'll get verified don't worry...bad news...all the plastic AEGs would have decomposed by then...but seriously though I was done in like 3 days when Dragonhawk verified me. I guess its also because ASC has been undergoing upgrades lately.
