KSC G23F threaded Barrel?
As I've been told by others they can't find it and can't seem to find one myself, as a last resort before I comission some custom work has anyone come accross a G23F outter barrel that can take a silencer? I know you can use the outer barrel from other Glock models but they don't have the vents in the top which would make the gun look quite strange without as its a focal point in my mind especially when the slide is back.
Just curious if anyone has found one, or even made one (for any gun) and could lend me a few words of advice. Actually on that topic I was curious as to the stability of the silencer itself on pistols, my metal slide and barrel wobble very little but with a silencer on it I'm worried it will noticebly flop around as the length will amplify the effect.

A silencer on a GBB is best left on only for show. It has provides no useful sound suppression, so it's only cosmetic, and it will definitely stress the internals by hanging a big honking weight off the end of your gun. Not a wise idea for field play.
Strictly speaking I don't think you'd want a vented barrel with a suppressor? I'm just theorizing, but I don't think in reality that would be a very useful combination. |

I was just tossing it out there as I've always loved the look of a silencer on pistols. After searching a little harder and talking to one of the guys running the Toronto location of ACS I decided against getting one for my glock as a whole. Thanks for the tips John, always appreciated.
