Hello peps.
Im new to airsoft and just got me a Mp5 Sd5 and need to know how long i need to charge the battery. Its a chep wall charger so if any one has info on this i would appreciate the hellp.

Check the Information section. There are many threads about how to charge batteries, how to measure the results, and also why a good charger is worth buying.

If you dont tell us at least what battery you have, the voltage, the amperage, and what the wall charger can give as output, we cant guess an answer for you.

Wrong section too, a charger is not an airsoft gun.

the charger has an outputs 9v and the battery is 8.4V 2100mah

Okay, so the next step for you is to do a search in the Accessories or the Information section about charging rates and chargers. What is already written down will come up and explain everything.

9 volts is one part of the information. What is the amperage? Simple maths will tell you the rest. If you cant afford a charger that controls the process, invest in a small multimeter until you can.

Divide the current rating on the battery by the current output on the charger.

ie. 2100mah battery/200mah charger output = 10.5 hours.

This is a rough number and could vary by a couple of hours at either end. You're best to invest in a quality charger with peak detection as the cheap wall chargers are notorious battery killers.

But that battery you have is actually a 2400mah if I remember right.
