CQB options (range) question

I have a m4 CQBR, but im not an armalite fan, so im looking for another type of compact carbine or SMG, but needs to match if not beat my m4, which is based off a m733 eith a 150% spring. Ive read reviews on things like the mp5, mp7, p90, g3 sas, and other various AEG's but not make comparisons or range ratings, if you have any recomandations or knowledge, it would be greatly apprectiated.

P90 all the way. Talk about a great AEG for indoors. RoF from hell , the handling also is unbelievable

well i'm all for the G3-SAS just slap on a MP5K stock and its bitchin plus a 550 round hi-cap how can u beat that?

not everyone likes the look or feel of the P90, Mag carry can be a problem as well you need specialized kit to tote them due to their size and configuration.

As for utility in close quarters the p90 is excellent. It has I believe the longest barrel of the SMGs, and so good accuracy.

I personaly like the MP5, just for it's classic looks and I find it is a more "intuitive" weapon for CQB .. this coupled with its easily found load carry accesories and the fact that there are ready sources for inexpensive mags makes the MP5 a great "first to buy" choice. Don't get lured by the retracting stock or folding stock versions.. their utility is in disengaged portability, not in active use.. they tend to be flimsey and not robust enough to last long term.. full stock versions are much more robust and allow for large battery installation.

I don't own a MP7.. but have handled one and use one a couple of times.. the low power along with the "dinky" feel and small buttons and levers make this a poor weapon all around in my opinion.

well i like the mp5, but i heard it breaks super easy, and i love the look of the p90, but it looks like a bitch to hold! back problems? besides the mags being long, i heard they dont feed right.

you really have to take one in your hands

and for the mags , there are never been problems with Low Caps , Hicaps can misfeed sometimes , though

There's also the G36C. Unless I'm mistaken it's about the same length as the M4 Carbine with the stock out, but you can also fold the stock for CQB. It has the added benefit of having rails all over the damn thing (pre-installed if it's CA, or at a small cost for the extra two side rails if it's TM) which is great for mounting lasers, lights, or anything else you might want for CQB. I own one (a TM) and am going to buy another one shortly. I love it that much. The mags are also a little easier to carry than P90 mags.

Pfff it wont brake if you take care of it. I've had my A4 for almost 2 years and it hasn't failed me once. Very sturdy gun. The P90 only LOOKS like a bitch to hold. It's solid as a rock IMO.

why would you fold the stock for CQB? the weapon is already compact. trying to fire it with the stock folded just drops your accuracy.

firing weapons with the stocks folded is a total "airsoftism"
