Inner Barrel Question (CA M15A4 Carbine)

Hello,

Got a quick question for ya, I'm buying a CA M15A4 in a couple of months and I'm planning to replace its inner barrel, based on your own experiences, which manufactures make the most accurate and durable barrel. Price isn't really a problem. I looked around but didn't find any information that really helped me decide on a single brand. Also does anyone have the CA LE Tactical stock, is it worth it (looks a hell of a lot more comfortable than the standard M4 stock assembly. If you have any opinions on a better retractable stock I'm all ears. Thanks in advance!

Prometheus 6.03MM Tightbore's are the best I've ever used.

Toss a Guarder recoil pad onto your stock and you'll feel the difference immediately.

Exactly.

I slapped a Prometheus barrel in my M4 and have never had a jam. The accuracy is great as well.

Guarder recoil pads are the bomb. They feel nice against the shoulder.

Anybody have a KM TN coated inner barrel, I've heard that their supposedly the best inner barrel you can buy. They are more self lubricating than copper and are more durable. What do you guys think, regardless of price, which is better Prometheus or KM?

I've used Systema, KM & Prometheus.

The KM had excellent accuracy for a 6.04, but I did have the occasional jam with it.

Prometheus all the way.

BTW What barrel are you using that is copper? Stock barrels are generally made out of brass.

It was a barrel my friend had left over after one of his project guns so he gave it to me. So I guess its unanimous, I'm getting a Prometheus. Thanks for all the help!

I've searched everywhere for the answer to this question but haven't found it.

A Prometheus barrel is easily some $60+ CAD, usually more. A Systema tightbore can be had for as little as $25-$30 CAD. eHobbyAsia prices.

Is the Prometheus that much better that it justifies double the cost of a Systema? Can anyone claim a marked benefit over using one versus any other that is decidedly cheaper?
